Serving Opportunities

Serving Team Members Needed (Sheboygan Campus): We are in need of our church family to step up in a big way in this season to fill in the gaps we have on our serving teams as we regather for in-person worship services. Click to discover and sign up for upcoming serving opportunities.

Sheboygan Campus

Regathering Plan Overview

1. Services

Sheboygan Campus: Our first in-person worship service began on August 2, 2020. Services are held each Sunday at 9am and 10:45am.

Manitowoc Campus: We will continue to meet online at this time at 9am and 10:45am for the September 27th service. In-person services will resume in October 4th at 10am at the AMC Theater.

2. Please Make a Reservation to Attend

Due to limited seating capacity and social distancing guidelines we are seeking to follow, we will be implementing a reservation process for in-person worship services. Everyone is welcome (people at either of our campuses as well as those who would like to come worship with us in-person for the first time) and encouraged to make a reservation to join us. Reserving your place at a service is free and will open Sundays at 8am each week for the following Sunday. We will strive to have each row spaced approximately 6' from one another. When you arrive, a Host Team serving member will help usher you to a seat (if you get there will have more options) and help ensure there are at least 3 seats between other families/groups. Please be willing to be flexible and accommodating to move a few seats in on a row if a Host Team member asks you to as it allows us to maximize seating. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins if there are remaining spots not reserved through our website. However, to guarantee a spot in the service for you and/or your family/friends, we strongly recommend making a reservation through the website the week prior.

NOTE: If you need assistance making a reservation for an upcoming service, please contact the church office by 5pm on the Saturday prior:

Self Screen for Symptoms

3. Self-Screen for Symptoms

This is probably the most important thing you can do to help us: Please screen yourself and all family members (even those not planning to attend service with you) for COVID-19 symptoms EACH SUNDAY prior to arriving. If anyone in your family has these symptoms, please have the entire family stay home and worship with us online.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Additionally, if you believe you have had recent exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we would kindly ask that you choose to worship online with us until you have a negative COVID test or have self-quarantined for the recommended time by your doctor and/or public health officials.

4. Interaction Stickers
Upon arrival each week you have the option of putting on a sticker that helps communicate to others the comfort level you have with social interaction. Since public health guidance at this time is to avoid touch and close proximity to others, we would lovingly encourage people to refrain from handshakes and hugs during this opening phase. However, we also understand some people really do view their church as their family, and as such, a handshake or hug is a vital component to their emotional health and mental well being. In an effort to balance both ends of where people are at on this spectrum, we are providing these stickers as a way to help clearly communicate each person's comfort level for in-person interactions. We would simply ask that you be exceptionally kind and understanding of another person's choice of sticker.

Arrive Early

5. Arrive Early

We ask that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive as we will have Host Team members (greeters/ushers) helping you find a group of seats in the gym. This also helps us maintain social distancing and a "pass-thru-only" lobby at the school when arrival times are spread out over a 15-20 minute timeframe instead of 3 minutes before service starts. When you arrive you may be asked at the front door what name your reservation is under.

6. Masks

Wisconsin Governor Ever's executive order 90 of September 22, 2020 requires face coverings to be worn when gathering indoors.  We understand mask wearing has been a divisive issue, but we also desire to submit to government and public health authorities when doing so does not violate God’s Word.  The executive order states that if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, you are exempt from this order. Therefore, if you enter our services without a mask, we assume you have a medical condition and we welcome you inside to worship with us. We also respect your personal freedom to choose not to join us for in-person gatherings due to health issues or personal convictions about masks. If that is where you find yourself, please continue to worship with us online during this time. Our staff and serving team members (while they are not speaking or singing on stage) will all be wearing masks inside as well. We encourage you to bring a mask from home, but we will have single-use, disposable masks available on-site should you need one or forget yours at home.

Masks Are Required

7. A low-touch Service

Bulletin/Notes: Beginning Sep 27th, we will be providing sermon handouts and they can be picked up on tables in the worship area. Pens will be available as well, but we encourage you to bring your own from home. Sermon notes can also be found on our Crossroads app or our website. A PDF of sermon notes is posted on our Facebook page by Saturday evening each week to be printed out in advance if you prefer to print your own paper notes.

Refreshments: There will be no coffee, donuts or juice provided. You are welcome to bring coffee from home.

Offering: There will be several black collection boxes around the facility for you to have the opportunity to continue your worship through giving.

Interaction Sticker: We invite you to grab a single-use sticker as you arrive that will communicate to others your comfort level when it come to interaction with other people. We will not be asking you to shake hands with those around your seating area or any of our serving team or staff members. In fact, our entire staff and serving team members serving that morning will be refraining from hugging, shaking hand, fist bumps, etc. Please be understanding of this decision and realize that while we are not engaging in traditional greetings, we still very much desire to talk and catch up outside before and after services!

Hand Sanitizer & Masks

8. Sanitizing

We will have plenty of stations for hand sanitizer and wipes as you arrive. Please use these as you enter. Additionally we will always have masks available should you need one and forgot yours at home.

All chairs are sprayed down and wiped before each service.

High-touch surfaces like door and toilet/faucet handles will also be disinfected throughout the morning.

9. No Crossroads Kids Ministry Offered

We will not be offering in-person Crossroads Kids ministry during the first phase of our regathering plan. Thus, please reserve seats for all children planning to attend with you. We will be offering single-use, age-appropriate activity bags upon arrival to help keep children engaged during the service. However, should your child be unable to sit quietly during the service, we would ask that you exit the service out of respect for those trying to worship and listen/watch the service in the lobby (on a TV) for the rest of the morning. (The ability to watch service in the lobby is currently offered only at our Sheboygan Campus).

Wait for Dismissal

10. Wait for Dismissal

We will be dismissing people by section to avoid congestion in aisles, door areas and our pass-thru only lobby. Please remain at your seat until your row has been dismissed by a Host Team serving team member.

At our Sheboygan Campus, we ask that fellowship happen outside along the southside or northside of the Lake Country Academy building and in the green area near the flagpole. Additionally, please do not remain in the worship area as serving team members will be spraying down all our chairs to disinfect them for the next service.

At our Manitowoc Campus, you are welcome to fellowship in the AMC Theater lobby, following service. We do ask that you respect social distancing guidelines and be aware of the interaction stickers that people are wearing. (see above for more information on the interaction sticker options that are available)

Worship Online

For those of you who are worshipping from home, we remain committed to providing a quality, online service to you. Join us Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am!

Online Service Times:

Sheboygan Campus: 9:00am | 10:45am

Manitowoc Campus: 9:00am | 10:45am

Attend a Watch Party

For those of you who desire to gather with others to worship, but aren't comfortable gathering with larger crowds, we are forming "watch party" groups you may wish to consider. A watch party is a much smaller group of people coming together to stream the service on a home TV so they can worship together. Some LifeGroups are already doing these and we have other people willing to host individuals, couples or families who may desire this experience even though they are not yet in a LifeGroup.

Our Sheboygan Campus has a "drop-in" watch party at Campus Life Family Center for our 10:45am service.

If you desire to learn more about joining or hosting a Watch Party, please contact the church office:

Sheboygan Campus: (920) 694-1552 or

Manitowoc Campus: (920) 663-2960 or
