Crossroads Kids FAQ's

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Let us know you are new when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child in, and one of our serving team members will lead your family to check your child in to their age-appropriate room. We can't wait to meet you!

Our serving team is trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every serving team member is screened with a background check and every hallway is monitored by security personnel. Each family is given two name tags upon check in, one for the child and one for the caregiver. When you pick your child up, the name tags are matched by our team for safety prior to releasing the child back into your care. Additionally, each child is assigned a unique number on their name tags that allow us to page you during service should the need arise. Don’t worry parents-- we’ve got this!

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The interactive teaching curriculum we use is called the Gospel Project. Our program utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. Our goal is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

We firmly believe that the best place for your kids to learn about Jesus is in Crossroads Kids. If, however, you would prefer to bring your kids to service, we encourage you to take advantage of our cafe style seating located in our lobby. This seating is conveniently designed so that if your child becomes a little too active or fussy, you can still enjoy the service via video. When you and your kids are ready, we will make sure they have a great time learning about Jesus with us in Crossroads Kids.

Thrive is a ministry of Crossroads Kids at our Sheboygan Campus for those with intellectual and/or developmental special needs and their families. It is the hope and prayer of this ministry that those in the special needs realm will feel included, loved, valued and supported at Crossroads, as they are taught about God’s unconditional love and forgiveness so that they will Thrive in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become World Changers.
